Saudi Arabia’s de minimis value is the shipment value under which duties and taxes do not apply. If you are importing a shipment with a total declared value MORE than the amounts below, duty and tax will apply (also, some special products may be subject to other types of fees or taxes):

• De minimis Value for Duty: 1,000 SAR*
• De minimis Value for Tax: 1,000 SAR*
• The Saudi Arabian Customs Office has revised the clearance process. Effective 1 January 2018, all imports will be subject to a 5% VAT (value added tax), based on the total shipment value. MyUS does not collect VAT and it will not be included on your MyUS invoice. It is often collected by the Saudi Arabian government via the carrier when your package is delivered. All shipments with a declared value over US$266 will likely require a formal clearance, meaning the Saudi Arabian government may require additional documentation. MyUS can often assist with this additional documentation, but it may increase package processing time or result in processing charges. For more information, please visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Customs Website or visit our Country Alerts page.
