While many experts have predicted Cyber Monday’s demise in recent years, it is clearly here to stay. While our main focus at BestBlackFriday.com is covering Black Friday, Cyber Monday remains an integral part of Thanksgiving weekend sales. It is really the perfect complement to Black Friday, and you should include it in your holiday shopping plan if your goal is to get the best possible prices. In order to best prepare you, we have put together our annual Cyber Monday 2018 Predictions. Cyber Monday will take place on November 26 this year, which is much earlier than usual. Also, when you are busy with shopping do not worry about your shipping, Ship7 is one of the leading shipping service providers. We do shipping anywhere you are and get in shipped in perfection. Check our website to know more about us.
Most Stores Will Not Have An Official Cyber Monday Ad: Despite our insistence to retailers, most are probably not going to have an official Cyber Monday 2018 ad scan. While just about every retailer has a Black Friday ad these days, stores just do not seem to think to produce a Cyber Monday version is important. For that reason, BestBlackFriday.com will be producing custom Cyber Monday ads scans for stores that do not make their own.
Target Will Be The Store to Shop at on Cyber Monday: As it does every year, we expect Target to offer an extra 15 percent off on Target.com on Cyber Monday. Compared to other major retailers, this is the best deal when accounting for Target’s inventory, selection, and reputation. In addition to the extra 15 percent off, other items will be discounted, so you will really have an opportunity to stack the savings. As usual, expect Target to offer free shipping with no minimum order size on Cyber Monday.
Kohl’s Will Be Another Top Cyber Monday Store, Especially For Those Who Accrued Kohl’s Cash on Black Friday: We are predicting Target as our top overall store on Cyber Monday, but Kohl’s has a chance to be really good as well for certain shoppers. Those who collected Kohl’s Cash during Black Friday ($15 for every $50 spent) will have an opportunity to use the credits during Cyber Monday and Cyber Week. If you purchase a TV or video game system on Black Friday, there is a chance you may have racked up a ton of Kohl’s Cash, which can significantly cut your bill for any purchases on Cyber Monday. Additionally, expect Kohl’s to offer something like an additional 20 percent off your order (with exclusions). The only expected drawback to Kohl’s sale is that it is unlikely to offer free shipping with no minimum order size.
Many Black Friday Deals Will Simply Carry Over to Cyber Monday: While Cyber Monday will have its own deals, many of the sales will just be recycled Black Friday deals, which is not really a bad thing. For example, Amazon will likely have the same prices on its device deals, including the Kindle, Echo, and Fire, on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We expect Xbox One X bundles to be available for $399.99 from a variety of different stores on Black Friday this year. If this year is anything like prior years, many of the same bundles will remain on sale throughout the weekend into Cyber Monday.
In-Store Cyber Monday Shopping Will Continue to Expand: Cyber Monday was established in order to give shoppers a break and the opportunity to get Black Friday-like deals online at home or at work. For whatever reason, many stores are now having Cyber Monday sales at brick-and-mortar locations, which kind of defeats the purpose of the day. Regardless, it is yet another opportunity for you to attack in-store sales as well as online sales, and that can many times lead to the deepest discounts. Last year, Kohl’s and JCPenney are examples of two stores that had in-store Cyber Monday deals, and we expect more retailers to take part this year.
Cyber Week is Still a Thing; Many Deals Will Last for Days: Some of the best deals will only be available on Cyber Monday, but many of the offers will last through the week. Cyber Week is still a thing, and it is kind of just an extension of Black Friday and Cyber Monday now. Some stores have tempered things a bit. Kohl’s and JCPenney ended their Cyber Week sales on Wednesday last year, but stores like Sam’s Club had deals until Saturday. The best deals are still going to be on Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, but Cyber Week can fill in some of the gaps for items that you may have missed.
Free Shipping Will Be Standard, But Walmart and Amazon May Still Make it Tough: During Black Friday, we urge our readers to never pay shipping costs. On Cyber Monday, we strongly urge you to never pay shipping costs. Since you will probably be ordering online, hundreds of different retailers will be vying for your business. Most of these retailers will be offering free shipping with no minimum or a low minimum that can easily be met. Unless your order will ship for free, we highly recommend you shop elsewhere. Plenty of stores will be having great online sales, and shipping costs can easily kill an otherwise great deal. Amazon (for non-Prime members) and Walmart will probably keep their free shipping minimums on Cyber Monday. Despite our rave reviews about Kohl’s, it will also likely have a free shipping minimum.
Cyber Monday Will Not Be The Time to Buy a New TV, Laptop, or Toys: There seem to be a few myths going around pertaining to electronics on Cyber Monday. While some of the sales are solid, many of those deals are carried over from Black Friday. The issue is Black Friday seems to have many more deals on the most popular electronics, including TVs, laptops, and video game consoles. You definitely want to buy your new TV on Black Friday as opposed to Cyber Monday. We have seen some great laptop deals on Cyber Monday, but Black Friday still offers a great selection and has really cheap doorbusters. Cyber Monday is not the worst time to buy toys, but you should still wait until the middle of December for the best prices.
Deals Will Start as Early as Saturday But Wait Until Monday for the Best Sales: A few years ago, Walmart confused everyone and started its Cyber Monday sale on Black Friday. It made no sense, and it never did anything like that again. Regardless, some stores are still going to begin their Cyber Monday sales on the Saturday after Black Friday, with some of the better doorbusters beginning on Monday. You are unlikely to find better prices on Saturday or Sunday, so we recommend simply waiting until Monday.
The Bigger Stores Will Win Black Friday, But Cyber Monday Will Offer Smaller Stores a Better Chance to Shine: Stores like Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Best Buy really have a monopoly when it comes to Black Friday, and they are also strong when it comes to Cyber Monday. The difference is Cyber Monday allows smaller stores and online-only retailers to really shine and show what they have to offer. Since actual Cyber Monday ads are still fairly rare, the printed Black Friday circulars that traditional big-box stores use to dominate are no longer in play. Keep an eye on stores like Newegg and Monoprice.
